Nighttime is actually the ideal moment to care for your hair. Your hair then has all night to recover and receives all the nutrients it needs for hours to become shiny and strong again.
Why care for your hair before bed?
- During the day, your hair is constantly exposed to harmful influences, and waste products accumulate in your hair. Think of damage from the sun or a hairdryer, but also exhaust fumes if you live in the city.
- With a busy schedule, it's perfect to care for your hair while you sleep! This saves you a lot of time.
- If your hair is dry and you have split ends, your hair could really use some time to recover.

Tips for optimal care
- First, remove all tangles and knots from your hair. Hair is better able to absorb substances when it is detangled.
- You don't need to apply hair care to the scalp. This only ensures that you have more cleanup work the next morning. Read: oily scalp!
- Never go to sleep with wet hair. Wet hair damages more quickly. For example, make a loose braid in your dry hair before bed. Choose a soft elastic without metal pieces.
What to use for care?
Oil such as an argan oil. Apply the oil generously to the hair and let it soak in well. Make a loose braid or high bun and wash the oil out the next morning with a mild shampoo. You can also make your own mixture of, for example, coconut oil and a ripe avocado.
Moisturizing mask which you leave in for the entire night. This can be a mask that you don't need to rinse out, such as the Hair Restorer. This saves valuable time in the morning!
Pillowcase. Did you know that there are special pillowcases made of satin or silk? These soft fabrics ensure that your hair is less likely to be damaged. You can also opt for a satin or silk scarf (for) around your head.
