HAIR ESSENTIALS by MIRANDA
Elisa has handed the baton over to me to share my daily hair routine with you.
With my background in hairdressing, I've used many brands and tested a lot of products. That's why it's even more enjoyable for me to now be a buyer for this wonderful and beautiful brand, Calmare.

Bye bye yellow!
What I really missed in our assortment was a good No Yellow Shampoo. This is one of the first new products we've added to our collection and is also immediately my absolute favorite!
As a buyer and a huge fan of No Yellow, it had to meet several requirements:
- Nourishing, as most No Yellow Shampoos tend to dry out your hair.
- Intense, so it can quickly neutralize warm yellow tones from the hair.
- A lovely fresh scent.
Our No Yellow meets these requirements, which is why I am so happy with this product. I wash my hair a maximum of 3 times a week, one of which is with No Yellow Shampoo. In the summer or after a visit to the swimming pool, I use it more often. I always wash my hair first with the Daily Care Shampoo and then use the No Yellow Shampoo, letting it sit for at least 5 minutes. Do pay attention to your ears and scalp. If you have sensitive or dry hands, be sure to wear gloves.
People often ask me how I get my beautiful ash-colored hair. A few highlights a few times a year and maintaining it with Calmare's No Yellow Shampoo is all I need!
Treatment time!
After the No Yellow, I like to finish with the Intense Treatment Mask. Because the No Yellow contains a lot of color pigment, it's advisable to finish with a conditioner or mask, just like after a color treatment, so that your hair cuticles close again and your hair shines more beautifully.
To make the Intense Treatment Mask even more nourishing and to create a wonderful spa moment for yourself, I heat a towel under the tap, wring it out, and wrap it around my head like a turban. I leave it on for a good 5 to 10 minutes and then rinse out the mask. The result is wonderfully silky soft and nourished hair – I love it!
Styling
I almost always blow-dry my hair, because the color shows up better then. For this, I use the Blow Dry Spray to protect my hair from the heat of the blow dryer and to add some extra hold. I polish my hair with a round blow-dry brush.
Calmare for kids
I'm also a big fan of Calmare for my kids. For example, I always use 2 pumps of New Hair Energy in my son's hair immediately after his swimming lesson! This removes all the chlorine and other impurities – things you don't want to think about too long after a pool visit – from his hair. Afterwards, I wash it again with the Daily Care Shampoo and he's fresh to go home.
Our daughter dances in a competition group, and anyone familiar with this world knows that not a single strand of hair can be out of place. This competition season, a tight, flat bun had to be made at the back of her head. I first dampen her hair with a spray bottle and then apply a generous amount of Setting Gel to the hair from the roots.
I apply more Setting Gel to the roots up to the middle of the hair than to the ends, otherwise you won't be able to easily tuck away the bun. Then you can effortlessly comb the hair tightly back with a brush or comb without any "stray hairs" or other odd bumps, for example, from cowlicks. When it dries, she has a beautiful wet look with a lot of shine and super sleek hair.
Once the bun is secured, I always add a layer of Finish Spray Extreme to finish the bun nicely and make her completely dance-proof!
I hope you enjoyed reading my ‘Hair Essentials’! Soon, our colleague Annika will tell you more about her favorites!
