Not a blog about hair for once, but one with handy tips on using hairspray. Because you can do so much more with it than just fixing your hair! Here are 7 tips for you!
1. Pantyhose
A handy tip for this festive season, when pantyhose are worn more often. Do you have a snag or a hole starting in your pantyhose and no new pair readily available? Spray some finish spray on it to prevent it from getting worse.
2. Oh no, a stain!
A make-up stain, one of those that makes you think 'that will never come out!'. We've read that hairspray helps then too! Spray some hairspray on the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then remove the stain from your clothes by gently dabbing with a sponge. This is surprisingly effective for all your make-up!
3. Dusty outfit
You can easily remove dust and lint from your clothes by spraying some hairspray on a clean cloth and then rubbing it over your clothes. All the dust and lint will now stick to the cloth instead of your clothes!
4. Discharging
In winter, due to low humidity, you often suffer more from static electricity. Hairspray can help! Spray some hairspray from a distance on the inside of the garment and the problem is solved. Another advantage, you will no longer get shocks when you touch something!
5. Quick dry
Want to quickly paint your nails just before you leave? No problem! Your nail polish will dry faster if you spray some hairspray on it and then submerge your fingertips in cold water.
6. Needle & thread
Sometimes it's such a fiddly job, getting the end of your thread through that tiny eye of the needle. If your thread isn't quite right for the hole, it will go the wrong way 9 times out of 10. What helps is to fix the thread with some hairspray and let it dry for a bit. We bet it will be easier now!
7. Okay, one hair tip then...
And that's one for your eyebrow hairs! First moisten your eyebrow brush slightly and spray some hairspray on it. Then brush your eyebrows nicely into shape and they will stay that way for the rest of the day!
