Although I haven't done a hairdressing course, I know Calmare inside out. My father started the brand with only the Hair Restorer (which was called hair protector back then)
Over the years, I've seen plenty of Calmare products come (and go, by the way 😉). In my teenage years, I already made a splash at school by being one of the first to come to school with colored strands in my hair. Also, back then, on Friday afternoons, I had a side job with friends, packing hundreds of boxes with New Hair Energy ampoules, but also adding countless leaflets to the bleach boxes. Even though it wasn't the most exciting work, it was always fun, and I still have very fond memories of that time.
But anyway, I came here to tell you about my Calmare favorites! I have medium-length hair, just past my shoulders, and I'm the type: My hair needs to look good all day without much effort.
When I wash my hair, I almost always use Argan Oil Shampoo. I have highlights in my hair, and it sometimes feels stiff and dry. Argan Oil Shampoo has an intensively nourishing effect due to its natural oils. Once every 2 weeks, I wash my hair with our powerful No Yellow Shampoo. This helps me maintain my cool tones.
After washing, I always spray some Leave-in Keratin into my hair. Mainly because of the wonderfully fresh, sweet scent, but also because this leave-in product doesn't make my hair greasy.
I love our diverse range of leave-in conditioners. The fact that you don't have to rinse these products out saves time, and I appreciate that!
Often, after showering, I just let my hair air dry. When I need to go out quickly or when I want even more volume in my hair, I blow-dry it. Of course, I don't do this without first applying some Blow-Dry Spray.
With my medium-length hair, I especially don't want it to hang limp along my face. That's why I've tried many products to create a messy look with a lot of volume. Many products made my hair greasy quickly or it fell flat after an hour. Finally, I tried Calmare's Shaper. This was what I was looking for! I only need to work a small amount of Shaper into my hair to create a firm texture. If you re-style your hair throughout the day, it instantly provides extra volume. 😍
Of course, the people closest to me are also fans of Calmare. For example, my brother has used more than 50 jars of Lagune in his life, and my mother has sworn by Calmare's Model & Go for over 10 years. The matte Clay Wax has been my boyfriend's favorite since it came out!
